Christmas Special out tomorrow!

Don't miss our special Christmas issue, on sale in the shop tomorrow (1st Nov).

December 2013 Issue
Our cover girl this month is Joanne Allison, who has a tutorial for some really elegant decorations for your festive tree. Plus there are lots of card designs, packaging ideas and an adorable Advent Village to countdown the days.

The free stamp is a gorgeous collage designed for us by myStampBox.

Plus we have altered bottles (great for crafty storage), a gorgeous embossing technique using glue, our crackle Masterclass and an adorable address book made from upcycled materials by reader Sharon Dobson.

I hope this issue makes you very merry!

  1. must admit i am quite disappointed with this issue. Not everybody wants Christmas projects in such abundance as not everybody these days celebrates Christmas. i was quite bored by what is usually a great read.

  2. I love Christmas and am looking forward to reading this issue. The use of Waltzingmouse stamps on the front cover project has got me excited already!

  3. I think this is a fabulous issue - the best all year! I love the mix of Christmas and other projects. Quite a number of the Christmas projects can be adapted to all year round makes - being a Christmas lover this has appealed to me very much.
I was very inspired by Gail Milburns project - the christmas village. Sometimes Gails projects are a bit too wacky for my taste but this one ticks all my boxes - so much so Mum has treated me to the sizzix die already so i can make my own version. I also love Brenda Browns project. Jo Firth young, Carol Fox, Christine Dark - oh my that bunting is gorgeous and Sylvia Blum . These are just the jump out and "make me now" projects others also appeal in other ways especially the technique ones. Big thanks to all the designers and of course the behind the scenes staff who do a brilliant job!

  9. Katy, this one is a fabulous addition -lots of us do love Christmas. I don't do Halloween but that doesn't mean I find the editions with those projects boring! I used the idea on the front to create an ornament for a challenge - mine is not like the ones on the front, but it started the ball rolling for me to create my own.
